Grounding in Karelia
On Sep 18, 2024, the "Nefterudovoz-2" ran aground while approaching lock No. 11 of the White Sea-Baltic Canal in Karelia. There were no casualties in the emergency. The North-West Transport Prosecutor's Office (NWTP) has launched an investigation. During a turning manoever, the vessel got out of the shipping channel and ran aground with its middle body.
