Nisos-Poros

On the early morning of Feb 19, 2025, the Milos Port Authority was informed of an emergency approach of the 'Nisos Rhodos' to the port of Adamas, in deviation from its scheduled route Piraeus - Heraklion, in order to disembark a 37-year-old passenger, who required immediate hospital care. The patient was transported by an ambulance to the Milos Health Center, while the ship continued on its scheduled route to Heraklion with a delay.

In the evening of Dec 7, 2019, the 'Nissos Poros', while operating a scheduled itinerary from the port of Galatas to the port of Poros, suffered an electrical damage. Following an inspection by the port captaincy, a starter malfunction was detected was found as cause of the failure. The vessel was banned from sailing until the repair of the damage and the presentation of a certificate of seaworthiness by the ship's registrar. The schedule was served by another ship.
