Captain failed drug test
The Water Police carried out a port sate control aboard the "Baltiyskiy 201" in the communal port of Rendsburg on Mar 20, 2012, at lunch time. The ship had cleared unloaded fertilizer. The policemen smelt alcohol, and a test showed the master had a concentration of 0.99 parts per thousand which was too much. Since the ship was due to sail in the afternoon, they detained the ship until the captain was sober. There were also defiencies regarding the insurance policy. An offense against the master was initiated, and he had to pay a security deposit.
