Hinnoy

The Hinnøy, serving on the route Bognes–Lødingen, had to be taken out of service on Oct 18, 2025, until further notice due to technical trouble. The route has been suspended until Oct 20, when the Norwegian Road Traffic Centre announced that it was back in operation as of departure at 09:30 a.m. Reis Nordland reported on OCt 18 that the bus line 100 between Narvik/Sortland and Bodø was delayed by up to an hour due to the cancellation of the 5:15 p.m. departure from Lødingen to Bognes.

On July 15, the operations manager for the Vestfjord department in Torghatten informed that the cause of the problems of the manoevering system 'Hinnøy' has probably been found. The operator received assistance from an external company on July 14, which has delivered a new maneuvering system to the vessel, and tthe repair was underway, However, it has not been determined how to prevent this from happening again, and it was therefore difficult to say when the ferry would be up and running again. An extra ferry will not be deployed in the meantime, as there is a shortage of available ferries during the high season. If there was a lot of traffic, it was recommend driving via Narvik. The ferry remained sidelined in Lødingenuntil the morning of July 16, when it returned on the connection to Bognes, starting with a departure from Lødingen at 09:00 a.m.

On July 13, at 10.30 a.m. the 'Hinnøy ', serving on the route between Lødingen and Bognes, suffered technical problems: and head to be removed from service.
