Bulkcarrier refloated
The "Dalmatia G" was pulled free by the tugs "Obelix" and "BB Worker" on Oct 11 at 8.50 p..m. On Oct 12 at 3:30 a.m. the ship was heading towards Skagen followed by the anti pollution vessels " Mette Miljø" and "Gunnar Thorson". After they were released from the operation, the "Obelix" proceeded towards Aarhus, the "BB Worker" to Stavanger.
Grounding in the Kattegat
On Oct 9, 2015, at 1 a.m. the "Dalmatia G" ran aground with a cargo of Phosphate approximately five nautical miles east of Anholt. The ship got stuck west of the navigation channel with a speed of just over 11 knots. The "LRB 21" from Anholt was immediately alerted and reached the site at 1.45 a.m. It monitored the situation until the anti Pollution vessel "Gunnar Thorson" arrived around noon and since remained on stand-by. There has been no leakage from the ship. Next the ship's hull has to inspected for damage. The Norwegian tug "BB Worker" (IMO: 9360051) has been dispatched to the grounding site and was actually standing by on Oct 10. The "Dalmatia G" was en route from Klaipeda to Paranagua.
