Fire in Murmansk
On March 2, 2022, at 09.50 a.m. a fire broke out aboard the "Rashkov" in Murmansk at the berth number 10 of the Murmansk shipyard. The source of ignition was located in the engine room. 25 crew members were evacuated. 29 fire fighters and eight fire trucks were deployed to the scene, among them forces of the Russian Emergencies Ministry. The fire could be extinguished, the cause of the fire was still being established, but thought to have been a short circuit.
