Engine failure in Corfu
On Jan 14, 2019, at midday the Port Authority of Corfu was informed by the captain of the "Nanti" that the port side main engine had failed upon the scheduled departure from Corfu to Igoumenitsa. Following the inspection of the ship by the Port Authority, it was detained until the damage was rectified and a certificate of seaworthiness issued. The 29 passengers and eight vehicles were taken to their destination with another ship. The ferry sailed from Corfu on Jan 17 and arrived in Perama on Jan 19.
