Tug in tug collision
The two tugs "Ocean Wave" and "Corbin Foss" which were scheduled to tow the damaged Royal Dutch Shell PLC drill rig "Kulluk", collided while maneuvering in a bay off Kodiak Island on Feb 22, 2013. The collision happened when the "Corbin Foss" hit the other tug. Drug tests were conducted on crew members but the Coast Guard did not respond to the non-injury collision. The poor weather has delayed the Kulluk from being towed to Dutch Harbor, but plans to take it from there to Asia in dry transport remains viable.
