Big Bang on Yangtze River
The bulkcarrier "Big Bang" collided with the "Bay Bridge" on the Yangtze River near Shanghai last week. The collision caused severe damage to the hull of the bulker, the foreship of which was breached and crushed. Subsequently, the ship sailed to Taicang to discharge the cargo of iron ore and entered the Shanghai Changxin Shipyard for repairs on Oct 12, 2015. The bulker had sailed from Port Walcott on Sep 18.
