Equipment of barge towed by tug robbed
While the 'Teras Caesar' was towing the barge 'Maritime Faith' on Feb 28, 2020, about 20 perpetrators boarded the barge from three fishing boats. The master of the tug sounded the alarm. and all crew were on standby for possible boarding of the tug by the perpetrators whp escaped with stolen items including lashing equipment, rope, manhole cover and steel stopper from the barge. The incident was reported to the Bangladesh Navy and Singapore Port Operations Control Centre.
