VOS Faithful ready to commence long-term charter
We are delighted to announce that one of Vroon’s newest vessels, VOS Faithful, is ready to commence her first long-term charter. Following her safe arrival in Aberdeen last week, the vessel has now successfully finalised preparations for ERRV duties. VOS Faithful is a 50‑m ERRV (emergency response and rescue vessel) and the third in a ten-vessel newbuilding programme, with six 50-m ERRVs being built at Jiangsu Island Shipbuilding Industry Co. Ltd. in Nanjing, China and four 60-m vessels under construction at Fujian Shipbuilding Industry, also in China. All vessels have a revolutionary, wave-piercing, bow shape that has been specially designed for Vroon. The first four vessels, VOS Fabulous, VOS Fairness and VOS Glamour, are already operating out of Aberdeen for Vroon Offshore Services. Source: Vroon Press Release
