Fish factory disabled by trawl nets
The "Vladivostok" got its trawling nets entangled in the steering gear propeller complex in the Sea of Okhotsk in position 053 58 36 N, 154 18 03 E, on Feb 4 at 04.50 a.m. As a result, the vessel was disabled without power. The Russian salvage tug "Sibirskiy" was sent to assist and rendezvoused with the disabled fish factory on Feb 5 at 5.30 p.m. and took it in tow towards a sheltered safe anchorage at the western coast of Kamchatka, where divers from the tug were to remove the trawl nets.
