Detention off Kalamata
Following an inspection carried out on board the 'Baroness' at the port of Kalamata by authorised Port State Control/Paris MOU inspectors on Sep 15, 2021, the bulk carrier was detained due to deficiencies in Annex X. of KO 2009/16/EC. The Port Authority of Kalamata imposed the administrative sanctions, and the vessel was prohibited from leaving port until the deficiencies have been corrected. As of Sep 17, the ship remained moored in pos. 37° 0.73' N 022° 5.13' E.
