Water ingress in Austevoll
The "Vendla" on Sep 10, 2013, suffered water ingress in the engine room caused by a leak in the cooling water intake while being docked at Torangsvåg in Austevoll. The lifeboat "Bjarne Kyrkjebø" delivered dewatering pumps on board to remove the water. With assistance of the fire brigade the water level could be reduced so far that the leakage could be found and patched.
