The "Jevenau", en route from Terneuzen to Cork with a crew of seven on board, suffered a crack in oil seal to propeller shaft and an oil leak into the engine bilges off Berry Head in position 050 08 52.6 N, 003 16 37.6 W, on Dec 28, 2018, at 08.20 a.m. The vessel was carrying 3.321 tonnes of Fertilizer At 10.50 a.m. the crew reported to the Solent Coastguard that repairs were completed by fitting new pipes and the ship resumed its course to Cork, ETA Dec 29, 3 p.m.

The "Jevenau" was disabled and started to drift in the English Channel northeast of Le Havre on June 29, 2018, at 5.40 p.m. On June 30 at 7 a.m. she was still drifting in southwest direction, parallel to her original track. The ship was en route from A Coruña, where she had sailed on June 26, to Wandelaar/Puurs, with an initial ETA as of June 30, 8 a.m.. The SAR tug "Abeile Languedoc" (IMO: 7710525) was sent from Boulogne-sur-Mer at 3 a.m. to assist. At 07.30 a.m. the "Jevenau" crew hat fixed the problem and was returning to its original course, sailing at about 7,5 knots, still being escorted by the tug in the midday hours as a precaution. The ship arrived in the port of Antwerp on July 1 and moored in the Brussels-Scheldt-Maritime Canal at 3.45 p.m.
