Medevac off Humber
The RNLI Humber lifeboat was called out on Nov 5, 2011, at 8.50 a.m. to a call for assistance to evacuate an injured worker from the "Vagant". The man had suffered an electric shock and burns to his right hand. He was in no immediate danger but needed to be brought ashore for a full check up and treatment to his injured hand. The weather conditions were fine with flat calm seas. The rig was lowered so the injured man could get aboard the lifeboat easily and he was then taken to an awaiting ambulance at Grimsby.
