The 'Ormi' suffered a turbo charger failure on Jan 24, 2020, at 3.35 p.m. in position 35 43 00 N, 27 53 48 E south of Rhodes island. The ship, which was en route from Kherson to Haifa with a cargo of soy beans, went adrift as the crew failed to repair the damage. The tug 'Karapiperis 18' (IMO: 8810205), was called from Mykonos to assist and took the casualty in tow towards Piraeus anchorage after the weather improved. On Jan 26 the convoy reached the port of Piraeus, where the relevant authorities inspected the vessel. On Feb 14 at 11.15 a.m. the 'Ormi' sailed from Piraeu after repairs, bound to Haifa with an ETA as of Feb 18.

The 'Ormi', while en route from Diliskelesi to Piraeus, suffered a technical failure during the transit of the Canakkale Strait at Nara point on Oct 10, 2019, at 7.30 p.m. Subsequently, the vessel was shifted to the Karanlik liman anchorage where repair works were commenced by the crew. On Oct 13 at 12.45 a.m. the vessel moored off Piraeus in pos. 37° 53.12' N 023° 31.86' E.

The "Ormi", en route from Piraeus anchorage to Novorossiysk in ballast condition with 16 crew members on board, reported the mechanical failure of a fuel pump north of Kafirea in position 38 16 00 N, 24 46 00 E, on Aug 14, 2018, at 9 a.m. The crew carried out repairs and the vessel continued on its voyage with an ETA in Russia as of Aug 19, 10 p.m.
