Superfast-I

On the morning of April 25, 2025, the Corfu Port Authority was informed by the Captain of the 'Superfast I',that a 62-year-old Greek crew member, the Chief Financial Officer, required hospital treatment. The ship was sailing two nautical miles north of the island of Vidos, Corfu, on the scheduled route Patras-Igoumenitsa-Bari. The ferry proceeded to the port of Corfu, where the man was disembarked and transported by an ambulance to the General Hospital of Corfu for further medical examinations and hospitalization. The ship then continued on its scheduled route.

On the afternoon of Jan 14, 2025, the Port Authority of Patras was informed by the Master of the 'Superfast I' that a 66-year-old foreign passenger of German nationality lost consciousness while the ship was in the process of being loaded in order to sail to the ports of Igoumenitsa and Bari. The man was initially given first aid by members of the crew, while later attempts were made to revive him by rescuers of the EMS, with negative results. In the end, he was pronounced dead by a doctor from the EKAV who went to the scene. His body was transferred to the General Hospital of Patras Panagia. The Central Port Authority of Patras, which conducted the preliminary investigation, ordered an autopsy to be carried out at the Forensic Service of Patras.

On Aug 14 at noon, the Port Authority of Patras was informed about the injury of a 55-year-old crew member aboard the 'Superfast 1', which occurred while berthing at the port during the process of mooring the ship. The man was injured in the gastrocnemius of his right leg while going down a ladder. A preliminary investigation was carried out by the Central Port Authority of Patras.
