Bulk carrier damaged in allision
The 'NSU Carajás' allided with two berthed ships at pier 3 of the Ponta da Madeira Maritime Terminal in São Luis, while maneuvering to its berth at pier 4 of the same terminal in the afternoon of Nov 28, 2020. All three ships were damaged. Among them were the bulk carriers 'Star Janni' which was hit at it port side aft and severely damaged, and the 'Korona D'. All three involved bulk carriers were taken to the Itaqui anchorage and moored 25 miles off the coast for inspections.
