On Aug 23, 2025, the 'Star Energy' berthed at the Novatek's terminal in port of Ust-Luga. The company's fuel-producing complex was damaged by a fire. caused by a Ukrainian drone, early on Aug 24, Operations at the complex and fuel loadings were fully halted on that day. The Ust-Luga complex, with a capacity of nine million tonnes a year, refines stable gas condensate mainly into light and heavy naphtha. It also produces jet fuel, ship fuel component (fuel oil) and gasoil.L The tanker left the terminal early on Aug 28 and was moving towards the Suez Canal.
