The 'Spetses Spirit' was detained at Changshu port on Jan 4m 2026, after an initial inspection by Tokyo MoU inspectors. They recorded five deficiencies, three of which were being regarded as seriously and grounds for a detention. As of Jan 6, the ship remained moored in pos. 31° 47' N 121° 02' E on the Yangtze River near Haimen.
