Medevac off Cap d'Antifer
In the evening of Aug 4, 2021, the CROSS Gris-Nez was informed by the Toulouse maritime medical consultation center that a crew member of the 'Sparfell' required a medical evacuation. The ship was located about 75 kilometers from Cap d'Antifer. At 10:20 p.m., A Cayman helicopter of the Navy picked up the injured man and took him to the Caen airport. He was then transferred to the University Hospital Center.
