Crew member medevaced by lifeboat
On May 16, 2022, the captain of the 'Ali Ka', en route from Castellon to Huelva, contacted Salvamento MarÃtimo and requested the urgent evacuation of a crew member which had been injured in an accident. The MRCC mobilized the lifeboat 'Illes Pitiuses' which medevaced the man and took him to the port of Mazagón, from where he was transferred to hospital.
