Engine trouble off Plymouth
The "Leon Hermes" en route from Ijmuiden, where it had sailed on May 19, 2019, with a crew of 22 on board, suffered a failure of steam wall resulting inthe main engine becoming inoperable 50 nautical miles south of Plymouth, in position 49 35 37.8 N, 004 03 55.2 W, on May 20, at 07.30 a.m. At 9 a.m. the vessel was back under way into the North Atlantic, bound to Gibraltar, ETA May 25.
