Sognefjord

In the morning of Feb 28, 2019, the "Sognefjord" allided with the ferry dock at Fure. The service Askvoll - Fure - Værlandet had to be suspended, as the other ferry, the "Nordfjord" was in a yard maintenance. There were three passengers aboard the sip, none of them was injured. As the berth was damaged, the ferry returned to Askvoll to drop off the passengers. Also the ferry suffered a small damage that needed to be repaired. Fjord1 inserted a passenger boat between Askvoll and Værlandet at 8 a.m. There was no spare ferry available in the vicinity.

On Jan 4, 2018, the "Sognefjord" had to be taken out of the service Anda - Lote due to a serious technical problem at Anda-Lote. The ship had encountered a malfunction of the cooling system of the main engine. The route was served only with one ferry until 6.40 p.m.

The "Sognefjord" had to be withdrawn from the Anda-Lote route in the afternoon of July 30, 2017, due to trouble with the cooling water system. It stopped outside the fjord and did not take on board people or cars when it docked at Lote. Sludge, plastic waste and other things had come down the fjord and posed a problem for the ferry by blocking the cooling system and subsequently causing engine failure. The ship returned to service after cleaning works on July 31 at 9 a.m.
