Allision in Antwerp
In the Port of Antwerp, an inland vessel allided with the ‘Silver Sun', which was berthed at teh Canal Dock 82 near the Kruisschans, on April 12, 2026. The vehicles carrier was breached above the waterline on a length of several metres at the height of a car deck. The investigation was taken over by the competent authorities. Given that the damage was above the waterline, the ship was permitted to unload the cars on board at Sallaum Terminals and was subsequently repaired on site.
