Sidra-Halima

Th 'Sidra Halima' was detained at Ambarli on Nov 10 by the Mediterranean MoU following a Port State Control. The inspection identified 15 deficiencies, four of which were being regarded as seriously and grounds for a detention. The checks covered the accommodation and galley, engine room, navigation bridge, outside decks and forecastle a.o. The ship was released again on Nov 11 and left the port en route to Novorossyisk with en ETA as of Nov 15. It was the second detention in Ambarli within eight months, with the last having been on March 6, after which the ship also had proceeded to Novorossyisk as next port of call.
