On Sep 3, 2011, the "Seven Atlantic" of the Aberdeen-based offshore firm Subsea 7’s vessel has collided with a Gaz de France platform in the Dutch sector of the North Sea. The vessel proceeded to Rotterdam for repairs, Nobody was hurt in the incident. All personnel on board the vessel are safe and accounted for. The vessel has arrived in port on Sep 4 and demobilised at Waal Harbour 4 to allow an investigation into the incident.
