On Oct 25, 2019, the 'Sea Venus' reported its No.3 auxiliary engine out of order off Haida Gwaii. The vessel continued its voyage with its two auxiliary engines. It berthed at Ridley Island on Oct 29 at 3.40 a.m.
Ship continued voyage after engine failure
The "Sea Venus" was timewise proceeding at reduced speed, due to an engine failure in the Dixon Entrance, six nautical miles north of Langara Island, British Columbia, in position 54 20 31N, 132 53 56W, on Feb 25, 2018, at 10.30 p.m. She had sailed from Ridley Island at 8 p.m. The crew conducted repairs and the vessel continued its voyage to Nansha in China, ETA March 16.
