Bulkcarrier heaved anchor after allision
The "Sea Dolphin C." heaved its anchor on Jan 8 at 04.55 a.m. and was underway by 6 a.m. According to the Bangladesh Mariners Transport System Co. Ltd., the shipping agents of the bulk carrier, the vessel offloaded the imported fertilizer at the port and then sailed from Chittagong on Jan 14. It arrived at the Mongla Fairway buoy on Jan 15 to discharge balance cargo.
Allision off Chittagong
The "Sea Dolphin C." allided with the combined chemical and oil tanker "Maiden Alpha" on Jan 4, 2019, at Chittagong Outer Anchorage, on Jan 4. Both vessels have sustained damaged in the incident. The bulkcarrier was bound to Chittagong Shipbreakers and had moored in pos. 22° 16.76' N 091° 42.27' E on Dec 18, 2018.
