Engine repair in Karachi
The 'Nilufer Sultan' was still in Karachi as of Feb 9, 2021. The ship had suffered an engine breakdown after arriving at Karachi outer anchorage on Dec 15, 2020, at 11.35 a.m. Tugs towed to the West Wharf jetty of Karachi within a couple of hours. The vessel completed discharging of its cargo and shifted to berth no. FM-2 on Dec 20 where repairs of the engine were commenced. After the completion of repairs, the vessel sailed from port Karachi on Feb 17 at 1.40 p.m., headed to Ruwaik, ETA Feb 20.
