Search for man lost over board
A search was being conducted for a missing crew member from athe "Beagle 1" approximately 210 nautical miles south-southeast of Palau. The U.S. Coast Guard received a report from Japan Coast Guard in the evening of Dec 18, 2014, regarding a man who went overboard from the cargo ship. The "Beagle 1" conducted initial searches of the area. The Coast Guard Sector Guam is coordinating the search along with the container ship, a U.S. Navy aircraft from Kadena Air Base in Japan, and the Palau patrol boat PSS "President H. I. Remeliik".
