Tanker drifted off Orskjæra
In the morning of Oct 5, 2016, the "Haugfjord" suffered engine trouble four miles off Orskjæra. The lifeboat "Erik Bye" was called to assist after the engine had stopped, leaving the ship adrift in a safe distance to the coast. The tanker could be taken in tow. The lifeboat "Idar Ullstein" took over the tow before arriving at Sunnmøre. It headed to a repair yard in Raudeberg then.
