Tanker disabled in Brønnøysund
On Feb 23, 2020, the 'Scan Tank' was trouble with a fuselage suspension clutch after having got ice in the butt in Brønnøysund. The ship was taken in tow southwards and moored near the Marøysund bridge at Rørvik in pos. 64° 50.88' N 011° 16.03' E where it remained stationary as of Feb 25.
Fire during maintenance
The "Scan Tank" caught fire with a crew of four on board at the Marøy Marina in Rørvik, Trøndelag, on March 19, 2019, at 5.50 p.m. The ship was in for maintenance. The fire was quickly put under control. Everyone was safe and checked by health authorities.
