Fire in Southampton
In the evening of Jan 28, 2022, scrap metal which had been loaded onto the 'Nord Baltic', caught fire in one of holds at the Southampton Bulk Terminal. The fire was brought under control by fire engines of the local fire stations which kept monitored the site on Jan 29, to make sure fire was fully extinguished. The ship had berthed at Southampton on Jan 24 at 9.15 p.m.
