Two crew members injured in accident
The Helimer 211 SAR helicopter carried out a double medical evacuation of two crew members from the 'Sapiezna', en route from Port de Bour to Gibraltar, who had injured in an accident. The operation was coordinated by the CCS Tarifa and CCS Algeciras of Salvamento MarÃtimo, first at sea and then in the Bay of Algeciras. The inured seafarers were transferred to Jerez Airport, where an ambulance was waiting for the further transport to a hospital for medical care.
