Tanker suffered bow thruster problems
The 'Sao Sebastiao' suffered bow thruster problems and anchored in the Guanabara Bay off Rio de Janeiro in pos. 22° 49' S 043° 08' W on Jan 18 , 2026. A crane barge was moored alongside the unloaded shuttle tanker to address the issues. The ship remained stationary at the anchorage as of Jan 22. The tanker, which had arrived there on Nov 27 en route from São Sebastião, left the bay again on Nov 30, headed to the FPSO Anchieta.
