Ferry broke lose from moorings
The 'Willem Barentsz' broke loose in the harbour of Terschelling on the morning of June 22, 2025. The ship was drifting sideways in the harbour. As a result, the passage was temporarily blocked. The incident was probably caused by the strong winds. Three boats from the Noordgat company were deployed to right the ship. A gangway also ended up in the water during the incident. no one was injured in the incident. ivers checked whether the ferry was damaged. The harbour has since been reopened.
