Ferry lost power
In the morning of Feb 13, 2020, the 'Samlafjord', enroute from Jondal to Tørvikbygd, suddenly lost engine power on the Hardanger Fjord due to technical problems. Fortunately it was perfectly quiet and fine weather. The crew got the engine up and running again and the ferry was able to reach the berth. Just before 10:00 a.m. operator Fjord1 stated that the 'Lærdal' would be inserted as a replacement ferry until further notice, while the engine of the 'Samlafjord' was being investigated.
