Grounding near Vordingborg
The "Wilson Malm" ran aground close to Vordingborg on March 27, 2019, at 4.45 p.m. The unloaded ship had been caught by the strong wind and pushed onto the sandy bottom short time after leaving Masnedo bound to Stralsund. A tug was called to refloat the vessel, and it was then pulled back to the port of Vordingborg for investigations and surveys. There were no sign of spills. The Danish Maritime Authority interrogated the captain. The ship left Masnedo after investigations again on March 28 at 10.500 p.m. and headed to Stralsund, ETA March 30.
