Allision in Brunsbüttel
On Feb 22, 2020, at 11.50 p.m. the 'Wenche Victory' allided with the wall of the new Southern lock of the Kiel Canal in Brunsbüttel upon entering to the eastbound transit of the waterway on its way from Brake to Sillamae. The ship hit the wall at the height of the UCA-building. The damage was investigated, while the ship was within the lock. On Feb 23 at 2 a.m. the tanker was allowed to continue its voyage with an ETA as of Feb 26.
M Sea Capital confirms BP tanker deal
M Sea Capital has confirmed reports published on Splash late last month that it is behind the acquisition of three 47,000 dwt BP Shipping tankers. The British Tranquillity, British Courtesy and British Serenity were reported sold for a price of $10.7m each.
