Medevac off Gibraltar
One crew member of the "Nord Snow Queen" was medevaced 25 miles NE of Gibraltar by Salvamento Marítimo after suffering a heart attack on Jan 7, 2018. The tanker was enroute from Santa Cruz de Tenerife to Gibraltar. The Helimer 220 helicopter was mobilized and took the patient to the heliport of the Punta Europa hospital in Algeciras for treatment.
