engine breakdown
Dear Customer it is with regret that we have to inform you that yesterday the vessel Elite suffered a major engine breakdown while being in the Bay of Biscay . The crew was unable to solve this problem themselves, and the vessel is now being towed to a French port for arrival late 8/12 to undergo major engine repairs. Of course this arrival info is also still subject to the weather conditions. After repairs are finished, the vessel Elite will continue it’s voyage as normal. When this will be is still hard to predict and depending on the extend of the damage. First estimates indicate that repairs might take until monday. This could mean that yr cargo could arrive end wk 50. We will inform you of any new forecasts when we receive the actual data from the shipyard.
