Engine room accident kills one, injures four
The 'Chem Sinyoo' issued a distress signal off the Vietnamese coast on Dec 21, 2020, around noon LT, reporting an engine room accident. One crew member had died, four were injured and in need of immediate medical assistance. The Vietnamese Coastguard, Navy and Maritime Safety sent ships to assist. All other ships in the area were asked to assist if possible. The tanker was en route from Singapore to China.
