Accomodation vessel specialist Prosafe has announced that Equinor UK has exercised the fourth of six one-month options available to extend the charter of Safe Boreas.
Crew man injured on platform off Shetland
A crewman was airlifted to hospital after he was injured aboard the "Safe Boreas" in the Mariner field, 93 miles east of Shetland, on Sep 18, 2017, at 5 p.m. The Coastguard sent a helicopter to pick him up from the accommodation platform. The man was taken to Lerwick's Gilbert Bain hospital. He was later released. An investigation of Statoil was under way to analyse the cause of the incident and determine any remedial actions."
Repsol Sinopec Resources extends Prosafe contract
Offshore accommodation platform operator Prosafe has announced that Repsol Sinopec Resources UK has exercised options to further extend the charter of its platform Safe Boreas by a total of 21 days.
