On June 24, 2019, the "Siberin 1" with a cargo of coal on board ran aground in the Kerch Strait when departing from the port of Kavkaz near the Russian Chushka Spit. No leaks nor injuries reported.

At 1600 October 26 2010 due to navigational error ran aground on 2925.5 kilometer mark, river Volga, enroute Ukraine – Iran with 3102 mt bulk cargo on board. Draft loss fore starboard 0.15 meter, no leak or visible damages. Traffic not affected. At 0100 October 28 icebreaker Kapitan Bukayev and tug Puteiskiy-602 arrived to the scene, salvage under way.
