Tanker quarantined for influenza outbreak
The "Puma" has been quarantined since Feb 14, 2019, on Manzanillo Anchorage, upon its arrival from Avon with 21 crew members on board, 11 of whom fell ill with influenza, including two positive cases of H3HN2. The crew members were given the necessary treatment and did not show symptoms of illness any more, but they have to undergo quarantine period with a medical check every day. Nost of the crew were Europeans, including Lithuanian, Russian and Ukrainian nationalities. By Feb 209 the ship remained moored in pos. 19° 5.18' N 104° 20.22' W.
