On Feb 2, 2025, the 'PSF Pasifik' was detained in Constanta with 19 deficiencies, 12 of which being regarded as seriously and grounds for a detention: 1) Life saving Appliances - Launching arrangements for survival craft Not properly maintained 2) Safety of navigation - Voyage or passage plan Missing 3) Safety of navigation - BNWAS Inadequate 4) Safety of navigation - Voyage data recorder Not as required 5) Emergency system - Emergency fire pump and its pipes Not as required 6) Emergency system - Emergency lighting, batteries and switches Inoperative 7) Radio communications - Operation of GMDSS equipment' Lack of familiarity Radio communications - Maintenance/dupical of equipment Not as required 9) Water/Weathertight - Manholes/Flush scuttles Not as required 10) Fire safety - Fire doors/openings in fire resisting division Unsafe 11) Fire safety - Evaluation of crew performance Lack of training 12) ISM - Ism certificate Not as required The vessel was released again on Feb 12 and remained stationary in poirt. The inspection, however, has led to a refusal of access to ParisMOU ports.

On June 21, 2021, at 8 a.m. the 'Daroja', en route from Ferrol, suffered a loss of the wooden logs from the main deck when entering the port of Figueira da Foz which led to the closure of the port for ship traffic by the National Maritime Authority for security reasons.It lasted until around 12:30 p.m. The Lusa agency had been tasked to remove the trunks from the water. The ship owner contacted tugs, which towed the vessel to the commercial port of Figueira da Foz where it was safely berthed at 9.45 a.m. The Maritime Police coordinated a surveillance operatiom in order to verify the navigability conditions along with the Administration of the Port of Figueira da Foz, the Estação Salva-Vidas and an aircraft of the Portuguese Air Force. The crew of a Scottish cargo ship are reportedly being paid almost £5 less an hour than the minimum wage. Sailors aboard the MV Daroja, which carries goods between Aberdeen and the Northern Isles, allegedly earn £2.56 an hour against a statutory minimum of £7.50. A protest was held on Friday, six months after demonstrations over the pay of crew sailing on ferries contracted by the Scottish Government.
