Two dead after collision on Saigon River
The 'Prosper" was in collision with self-propelled sand barge in the Ho Chin Minh area on the Saigon River on July 4, 2018, at 5 a.m. The ship was proceeding downstream from the VICT container terminal. The 895-ton-barge sank after the collision. Two crew members, among them the master, were the third was saved with injuries. A crane barge was called to raise the wreck.
