Engine failure off Dover
The "Elsa S.", en route from Amsterdam to New Orleans with a crew of 21 in ballast condition, suffered a main engine failure while transiting the TSS southwest Dover Strait. It was disabled in position 51 08 32 N, 001 36 08 E, on May 4, 2019, at 4.35 p.m. The problem was fixed by the crew, and the vessel resumed its voyage with an ETA as of May 18.
